An avid and careful reader my entire life, my journey in the publishing industry began when I enrolled in the MS in Publishing program at Pace University. Upon completion of the program I landed a job at one of the most esteemed literary agencies in New York City. I spent over four years there absorbing all I could about the process of turning a rough manuscript into the beautiful final product, a finished book. It was an exciting but rather tumultuous time in the book world, and I had a front-row seat to the evolution of the publishing industry.

During this time I worked on honing my skills as a copyeditor and proofreader. I completed the Fundamentals of Copy Editing course at NYU in spring of 2013 and was inspired and encouraged to make this my full-time passion: the nitty-gritty of words and grammar and working with authors one-on-one to help them publish the best possible version of their creations.

I specialize in working with authors who are self-publishing, and I especially love working with commercial fiction. I also enjoy editing informal web content for those looking to polish up their blogs or professional websites, and I am available for in-house work with publishers and companies.
